Shoulder Pain with Rows?



Shoulder Pain with Rows? ▪️Rows can be a great exercise to improve posture, shoulder and upper back strength, etc. ▪️They can be problematic when performed incorrectly. If you perform rows with anterior humeral translation as shown in the picture on the left, it can irritate various structures from your rotator cuff, labrum, ligaments, etc. ▪️Instead, make sure to allow the scapula (shoulder blade) to move and pull it down and back as you row the weight towards you. When the scapula stops moving, stop rowing the weight. ▪️This can help to clean up anterior shoulder pain with rows.
